Garden Media Group to preview 2021 garden trends at CultivateVirtual

This month, garden industry insiders will gather virtually for Cultivate’20, AmericanHort’s annual conference. Garden Media Group’s Katie Dubow will once again be premiering the firm's widely anticipated annual Garden Trends Report and sharing what they see as the future of gardening.

Dubow will present the firm’s 2021 Garden Trends Report, The Great Reset, live and offer a peek into what will be trending in horticulture in 2021 and beyond on a panel, “A Retailers’ Planning Guide for 2021: You asked to be declared an essential business, now choose to be one.”

“For years we’ve identified shifts in habits and growth that affect both consumer and professional horticulture,” said Dubow. “And this year is no different. Many businesses had to pivot in the final hour and found that these new strategies are worth saving, and many old ones can be scrapped.”

Consumers are in the middle of A Great Reset. A Ctrl Alt Delete if you may. And while no one knows how our lives will look once the reboot is over, the 2021 Garden Trend Report analyzes how gardens can be tools for building more resilient and connected communities and neighborhoods. It also takes a deep dive into the new gardener and examines the future of cities.

According to Dubow, “In the first months of 2020, something ended. But something new is starting.”

CultivateVirtual debuts on July 13 online. Tune in for world-class education sessions, to make new connections with exhibitors, and have access to high-quality learning and peer-to-peer engagement.

Garden Media has published its highly anticipated Garden Trends Report annually since 2001. The firm offers information about trends in a variety of formats including a free annual report and a YouTube series.
