Proactivity key at Cultivate'20 Virtual

Cultivate'20 Virtual is already heading into the third day and proactivity might be the key word so far. Many are attending the show and visiting the booths, but getting into a conversation isn't going as fluent as in a physical show. The lack of face-to-face contact is evident. However, most are pleased with the platform, the set-up and the fact that it is live. As said in the FloralDaily article yesterday, it is as real as it can get this year. One exhibitor would like to have seen an option to see the people you're talking to in person, so via a zoom for example.

Eager to attend this live show that will last till July 16? Click here to register. In total, there are 250 3D booths to visit, below a small impression of some of the exhibitors and what they have on display.

The booth of Ball Ingenuity, a company that partners with plant breeders and suppliers from around the world, fostering relationships and bringing new plants to market. It focuses on three main areas of product development: Trialing, Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing. "This year at Cultivate we are presenting Kanmara hydrangea with the new lilac color, The Shangri-La Philodendron, a twist on your ordinary Philodendron, and the Begonia Spring Fling." At the booth, they are presenting videos on these varieties and for more of their videos, also visit to their Facebook page

Ar Flamingo Holland, specialized in premium flower bulbs and tissue culture perennials, the new introductions that are on display are: Primula Oakleaf, the new Sunbeckia line and the compact pot freesias of Van den Bos (their mother company).

At the booth of Modiform a clear message is being send out; "Close Loop Commitment". "As it is all digital, we decided to focus on this clear message. Our products are made out of recycled materials and are detectable so that they can be reused again. Then, it creates a closed chain without adding new plastic. So, a great product for the horticulture industry", says International Sales Manager Kees van Beek.

Besides their new varieties and Spring 2021 catalog, their Easter lily, Calla Lilies and LA Hybrid Lilies take center stage. On top of that, they are also showing a video about Growing Colors 3" plugs.

At tags, labels and signs manufacturer SATO they present their products that stand their use in harsh environments. Included in their product line are four-color process picture tags, pressure sensitive labels, RFID tags, signs and banners.

Florasearch is serving the horticulture industry since 1983 and is now considered to be one of the key employee search firms. At their booth, for example, you can learn more about recruiting key employees in the horticulture industry and about advancing your career in horticulture.

TTA's Steve Biles (General Sales Manager) and his service and installation team provide the North American market with TTA’s high-tech equipment for plug consolidation, transplanting and plant selection/grading.
