Ordu municipality announced to the press that their effort to increase and diversify agricultural production in the city has started to bear fruits. Especially ornamental plant production has become a significant source of income for residents in the city. The municipality has also announced that in order to boost plant production in the city, they have started the “Seasonal Ornamental Plant Production” project.
As a part of the project, a total of 225,000 seasonal ornamental plants are grown in 2 different districts in the city. The plants grown by the local growers were later purchased by the municipality and used in the decoration of the city.
