Since September 1st , 2020, Alexander Bergmann has taken over as Sales Director of Mayer Planting Systems. Together with his team and the large Mayer dealer network, he is now responsible for national and international customers.
“Mr. Bergmann has been working in the sales department of Mayer Planting Systems since 2017. As Area Sales Manager, he has supported and developed both his national and international sales territories very successfully. Alongside his high level of commitment, technical expertise and outstanding teamworking skills, Mr. Bergmann has a wide range of knowledge of the various markets and maintains excellent relations with our national and international dealers, partners and customers. I am particularly pleased that we have been able to fill the position of Head of Sales with a Mayer employee”, says Manuel Linke, Managing Director of Mayer Planting Systems.
After completing the first apprenticeship as an industrial & maintenance mechanic, Alexander Bergmann studied industrial engineering with a focus on innovation and product management at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Heidenheim, which he successfully completed in 2016. Subsequently, Alexander started his professional career at RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG as a product manager in sales. Since August 2017, he has been responsible at Mayer as Area Sales Manager for the regions of Central Europe, North & South America, and parts of Eastern Europe. During this time, he has been instrumental in driving forward sales activities within the regions.
