In a year with nearly everything cancelled, following the Plantpeddler Variety Day in August, they look forward to an opportunity to bring the Poinsettia community together.
See honest side by side comparisons of over 150 commercial and pre-release varieties, produced under true production protocols and environmental conditions. All Horticulture professionals in production, distribution, wholesale, and retail are invited.
“The Plantpeddler Poinsettia comparison trial site reflects the low light growing conditions of many northern parts of the US very well. The trials are very well grown and executed, and this trial site is a critical addition to other key poinsettia trial sites in the US”, comments Karl Trellinger, Syngenta Flowers.
As added bonus at this year’s event, the Fantasy Colors Poinsettia Painting Guru, Andrew Lee of Gloeckner, will be doing demonstrations in a special segment called “What’s your Fantasy? Paint Time Fun with Dr. Lee.” Rooms are being held at the Cresco Super 8 Motel for Wednesday night (Dec. 2nd). A pre-event social and meal is planned for Wednesday evening.
