Cut Flower Wholesale is an Atlanta-based import company that is always testing new varieties to identify important traits that meet the needs of their clients. In most cases they report their findings with breeders and on FlowerBuzz website. Every month, the name a rose of the month and for the month October, is is Brickhouse of United Selections.
Recently, Cut Flower Wholesale have been testing United Selections “House Series” predominantly grown in Ecuador and Colombia. These varieties are; Lighthouse, Whitehouse, and Brickhouse. They have previously featured Lighthouse as the variety of the month in August.
This month though, they have featured Brickhouse as the variety of the month. According to their analysis, Brickhouse has a unique colour; between a rusty, deep orange and tomato red, with some darker outer petals.
