Import Promotion Desk organizes virtual B2B meetings (Nov. 9-20)

Get to know new producers from Ecuador and Colombia virtually

Import Promotion Desk (IPD), the German initiative, brings together selected cut flower producers from Ecuador and Colombia with European importers via virtual B2B meetings. These meetings will be held from 9 to 20 November. During the pandemic, importers are thus given the opportunity to expand their product portfolio and supplier network at the beginning of the cut flower season. Around ten carefully selected producers from Ecuador and Colombia will present their cut flower offerings. Rose producers from Ecuador will show their varieties and high product quality. In addition, they will present their wide range of carnations, hydrangeas and callas. From Colombia, so far known mainly for its chrysanthemums, IPD supports producers of hydrangeas, gypsophila and cut greenery.

All suppliers have been carefully checked by IPD before the pandemic with regard to the requirements of the EU market and their exportability. European importers benefit from the IPD offer, as IPD supports them in the complex search for reliable partners and they can continue their sourcing despite the corona pandemic.

Benefits for importers at a glance

  • Support of the online meetings by experienced IPD experts
