Noviflora takes a stake in the Norwegian company Vestfold Blomst AS.
The companies join forces and cooperation is further expanded. The participation is in line with the multilocal strategy from a position of market leadership, focusing on the markets in Northern and Central Europe. In addition to the companies in Sweden and Switzerland, Noviflora now also adds Norway.
Vestfold Blomst AS specializes in the sale of flowers and plants to Norwegian florists and garden centers. CEO Øyvind Riise Jensen: "With this cooperation, we create the shortest path from greenhouse to retailers for national and international products, and we can serve customers even better and provide complete solutions." The operations of Vestfold Blomst AS will continue at the current location in Larvik in Norway.
The stake in the Norwegian company means that Noviflora will deepen its presence in this market where it has been active for years. Noviflora wants to sustainably extend its role as a supplier of high-quality flowers and plants in Northern and Central Europe through forward integration in the markets where the family business is already the market leader in exports.
