Marc Lodewijks started his own business in the Netherlands in 2012. By then, he had more than 15 years of experience in the packaging industry. As a new kid on the block, he moved into a new packaging hall in Nispen. There Marc focuses on film production for the fruit and vegetable sector, among others.
And not without success. This year, March appointed Wim Mariën as PACK11's account manager. Wim, too, has been active in the packaging sector for more than 15 years. "We can respond quickly to demand. That's thanks to our on-site stock and flexible attitude," begins Marc.
PACK11 is a relatively new company. It specializes in producing and processing high-quality packaging films, particularly top seal films. "We work closely with leading packaging producers and machine builders. So PACK11 guarantees expertise, consistent quality, and capacity. That's in the supply of food-safe packaging products."

“We've been Sappi Rockwell Solutions exclusive distributor since 2012. That's in the Benelux and Germany. We respond to the increasing demand for top seal applications. We supply the films printed, perforated, and cut to size to our clients," March continues. "Our single-layer films are made from mono-material. So, by definition, these reduce the amount of plastic and are recyclable. We also have a resealable version. Our Permaclear anti-condensation technology and uni-peel GPE-seal film are unique. This film on almost all surfaces, including cardboard trays."
Soft fruit and tomato growers now know where to find PACK11. The business is BRC-AA certified. It supplies fish, meat, meal salad, and other packaging plants with tailor-made films too. "We prefer supplying these clients directly. When it comes to top sealing, it's essential to know the materials and processes. Our films are thin, recyclable, and single-layer."
"We're in a segment that has the wind at its back. Since the Plastic Pact, plastic reduction is a no-brainer. Many lidded packages are disappearing, and top seal packaging is on the rise. There are also good opportunities for our packaging solutions in, for example, the mushroom sector," says Lodewijks.
“We take care of all our clients' needs through the entire process - from predesign to delivery. In recent years, we've also invested heavily in our machinery, including the perforators and cutters. PACK11 can deliver quickly with our own stock. So, the company's experienced considerable, entirely organic growth. With Wim's arrival, we hope to take the next step."
