Gardex is one of Japan's largest garden industry trade show covering all kinds of horticultural and landscaping products. Companies dealing in garden supply, pot/planter, watering supply, garden furniture, outdoor living product, flower/plant, etc. will gather under one roof and industry professionals from home centres, retailers, wholesalers, landscapers, contractors are visiting the show and active business dealings take place. Last year, the show was held together with Agri Week and Tool Japan a hybrid format; offline at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and online on a digital platform. According to the organization, despite the COVID-19 situation, last year's edition was a great success, attracting 23,175 visitors and they are therefore looking forward to the next edition that will be held from October 13-15.
Last year's edition
Even though the number of visitors is lower compared to last year (39,894 visitors), the organization, Reed Exhibitions Japan, was pleased with this result that they accomplished during this challenging times of COVID-19. "Both on-site and virtual venues were filled with high-quality visitors."
Concurrent shows
At the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, three different shows were held at the same time, namely Agri Week - consisting of AgriTech, AgriNext, AgriProcess, and Livestock - Gardex, and Tool Japan.
