The Great Big Plant Event is on. It is SAF's first ever plant-focused virtual event and it is taking place this Month. Eager to learn everything about houseplants, indoor plants and to grow sales? During this event, attendees will receive practical tools and guidance, directly from industry experts, on topics including care and handling, merchandising, customer service, leveraging social media and dealing with supply issues. Since March 1, attendees have access to 23 on-demand demonstration videos and on March 9, 23 and 30, there will be three live meet-up events.
Houseplants are hot!
Over the years, houseplants and indoor plants have become increasingly popular with Americans and the pandemic fueled the trend. "Now, with so many people working from home, home-schooling or monitoring virtual school — the value of plants in interior spaces has really heightened for consumers. As an industry, we’ve always understood that bringing nature inside can have tremendous health benefits — from helping to increase productivity to creating moments of calm — so it’s great news for the floral industry that consumers are becoming more aware of this too, and that an entire constellation of “plantfluencer” stars is out there on social media generating enthusiasm and demand for our products!," SAF's CEO Kate Penn explained in this article. SAF’s Great Big Plant Event is a series of almost two dozen on-demand video demos that can be watched on one's own schedule. On top of that, they also organized live virtual meet-ups in March. On March 9, 23 and 30, there will be three live meet-up events.
