Two speakers are scheduled to deliver helpful and inspiring online keynote presentations during the Nursery Guide LIVE virtual marketplace on March 17–18, 2021. All marketplace attendees and exhibitors can watch the presentations for free. Registration is now open at www.NurseryGuideLIVE.com

The virtual marketplace and its featured speakers are hosted by the Oregon Association of Nurseries. The keynotes are sponsored by GrowerTalks and Green Profit magazine.

Monica Hemingway will share practical advice on digital marketing during her keynote, “Five Keys to Getting Your Green Industry Business Found Online in 2021,” from 8–9 a.m. PST on Wednesday, March 17. A small business owner and certified arborist, she will provide simple and effective strategies to boost a company’s online presence in a crowded market. Businesses of any size will learn how to be proactive with their digital marketing actions to grow their business.

Dave Malenfant will discuss supply chain logistics in his keynote presentation, “Future Trends in Logistics: Partnering for Success,” 8–9 a.m. PST on Thursday, March 18. Shipping the perishable products grown by nurseries require specialized equipment, but the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically disrupted supply chain logistics. As the director of outreach and partnerships at the Center for Supply Chain Innovation at the Texas Christian University (TCU) Neely School of Business, Malenfant will share his knowledge and predictions about the future of logistics. He has studied the transportation of products for more than 35 years.
