Welsh garden centres reopen and non-essential sales start

Garden centres in Wales reopened yesterday while non-essential sales from supermarkets can also re-start.

Welsh Government has published an updated Coronavirus Control Plan that has revealed part of a roadmap showing how it will gradually move Wales out of lockdown - although there is still no date for indoor hospitality.

The popular Fron Goch Garden Centre near Caernarfon posted today: "We are beyond excited to welcome back all our lovely customers today.

"Our team can't wait to show you all the progress we have made in the garden centre these last few months."

Snowdonia Nurseries in Glan Conwy said: "We are delighted to be welcoming customers back into the garden centre. Gardening is something everyone can enjoy and is known to have a positive impact on people’s mental and physical well being. We hope our customers have enjoyed being back and we look look forward to a great spring/summer season."
