New greenhouse
Within the year, Jet Fresh Flower Growers has constructed two new greenhouses bringing the current total to 14, with additional room for more development in the near future. "In order to meet the increasing demand for roses around the world, we have added new varieties to our roster as well as increasing more fan-favorites that will meet the demand for wholesale and events, as well as contribute to our line of Hippy Psychedelic Roses, which we produce in-house."
Some of the new varieties now growing in these greenhouses include their new red wine rose, “Endora,” a variety very new to the market which will surely have designers thirsty for more. Also, they’re excited to announce their first-ever spray rose called, “Green Pink.” "This new variety features elegantly ruffled petals with a green outside and a soft pink center which gets increasingly beautiful as it opens. Along with these fresh varieties, we will also be increasing our wedding and event-favorites including “Pink Mondial,” “Tibet” “Playa Blanca” and “Mondial.” And after Mother’s Day, we plan to add “Matcha,” “Cream Carpe Diem,” “Sweet For Love,” and “Venturoso.” Stay tuned for our fresh updates!"
Victorian Roses
Their boutique rose farm, Jet Fresh Flower Growers, S.A. is also producing Victorian roses to complement their existing varieties. "Victorian roses feature additional lateral shoots which resemble spray roses and is a rose feature that’s perfect for design work."
In-house laundry service
Their farm team, comprised of 80 percent women are so dedicated and work hard handling operations at their farm, while also maintaining their personal lives taking care of their families. "It’s so important for us to find ways that will enrich their lives so they not only have time to spend with their loved ones, but also have time for themselves. Our farm managers, Juanita and Carlos Coloma came up with an excellent idea to help our team save time at home by allowing their laundry to be done at the farm. We’ve created a laundry facility and installed automatic washing and drying machines for our team to utilize free of service; which, otherwise many will have to do laundry by hand. This time-consuming chore is never-ending and so we have a team member which handles the operation of washing, drying and folding for them."
