For more than 11 years, Dutch importer WBE has been working with Sicusa, a nursery that grows Leather leaf Fern and Aralia in Guatemala. That is why they are extra excited to share more information about this collaboration. CEO of Sicusa, Ricardo gave more information on the activities involved in working on the farm in Guatemala.

"The company was founded in 2009, and is integrated by 3 farms: Sicusa, Adecor and Ornamentales La Loma. One located in the north area of Guatemala and the other two in the central area, therefore we have different weather conditions to produce our greens.

Working with nature we are affected by elements we can't control, so we try to keep innovating, learning and looking for ways to be more efficient, and face the challenges not only of the industry but of the world, to produce quality according to the requirements of the market."

"We are an agricultural company that believes employees are the most important part of the operation, treating them with fairness and providing good work conditions is the base of all we do to achieve good quality products."

Sicusa has been a partner of WBE for already 30 years, and 11 years as a direct supplier. Currently, they supply WBE with Leather Leaf fern and Aralia
