IPL Summerflowers and Seeds BV will represent Odie Farms in Africa

Interplant Group (working through Interplant Summerflowers and Seeds B.V. – incorporated in the Netherlands) will represent Odie Farms in the African region, with immediate effect, for its broad range of summer flowers, such as Asters, Alstroemeria, Gypsophila, Lysimachia, Solidago and Veronica. Odie Farms (“Odie”), founded in 2016, also has an interesting range of novel rose varieties which will be a valuable addition to the Interplant collection – which has been specializing in rose varieties.

Odie’s mission, “developing and improving unique floral products”, aligns well with the strategic vision of Interplant. The choice of Interplant as a representative in Africa was an easy decision to make for Odie due to Interplant’s strong positioning in the African region, evidenced by Interplant’s track record and the activities of Interplant’s subsidiary, Interplant East Africa Limited in Kenya, which has a well-established network of growers. Moreover, the two parties have known each other for many years, which fueled the move to join forces.

Worldwide the demand for mixed bouquets of both summer flowers and roses is growing rapidly. Therefore Interplant and Odie, led by a team of experienced professionals, are convinced this collaboration will be a success.
