Ridder welcomes new member to its sales team

Said El Ouakili started work as EMEA sales manager climate screens at Ridder on 1st April. “I’m very pleased to welcome Said to our team. He will help us to meet the increasing demand for Ridder's climate screens,” said Ridder’s managing director climate screens Niels Lünnemann.

In his new role, Said El Ouakili will be the point of contact for greenhouse builders and screen installers in the EMEA region outside Benelux. There is a growing demand for specific knowledge and support for screen solutions across this region.

Steady growth
The addition of Said to the team is an important milestone for Ridder's Climate Screens team. “Our portfolio of products is growing steadily, along with the global demand for our products and services. Earlier this year, we increased the production of our climate screens in Maasdijk, and with Said’s help we can take the next step by continuing to expand and support our customer base,” says Niels Lünnemann, Managing Director Climate Screens at Ridder.

Commitment
Said El Ouakili: “My commitment to making things easier for our customers and providing the best possible advice is the perfect fit with Ridder's market approach. So I’m looking forward to helping to expand the demand for Ridder climate screens among both new and existing customers.”

Advanced production in The Netherlands
Ridder has been producing climate screens for the horticulture sector since 2015. In addition to working closely with suppliers and partners abroad, Ridder has also been producing its own screen fabrics since 2018, using its own high-quality production line in Maasdijk, The Netherlands. Significant investment has been made in advanced knitting machines and a great deal of knowledge has also been acquired about the complex production process in recent years. In addition to climate screens for greenhouses, Ridder also designs and manufactures drive systems, climate computers, water treatment systems, and labor tracking systems for the horticulture and intensive livestock farming sectors.
