Behind-the-scenes tour of Garden City Plastics and Polymer Processors

Join NextGen Victoria for a behind-the-scenes tour of Garden City Plastics and Polymer Processors. You’ll discover how they are leading the way in sustainable practices in horticulture, their mission to close the loop on PP5 plastic, and how they are working together to launch a plant pot recycling bin scheme to help growers, retail businesses and consumers, to recycle their used pots.

Garden City Plastics (GCP) is Australia’s largest plastic pot manufacturer. The vast majority of their black plastic containers are made from recycled plastics and they have recently introduced a Recycled Colour range.

Polymer Processors is one of Australia's largest plastic recycling facilities in Australia. They use modern machinery to wash, extrude, and pelletize various types of consumer and post-industrial waste, to divert plastic waste from landfills.
