UK's Queen Elizabeth receives new rose named in honor of Prince Philip

The President of the Royal Horticultural Society, Keith Weed, was delighted to present Her Majesty The Queen, their Patron, with a commemorative Duke of Edinburgh Rose at Windsor Castle last week to mark what would have been His Royal Highness’s 100th birthday today, June 10.

The deep-pink commemorative rose has been bred by Harkness Roses and donations from purchases of the rose will go towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s Living Legacy fund. See below the Twitter posts of RHS on the event.
