Royal FloraHolland:

Which packaging prices will change as of 5 July 2021?

As a rule, packaging prices can change twice a year. That usually happens on the first Monday of January and the first Monday of July. On Monday, 5 July 2021, the price of various cardboard packaging from Royal FloraHolland will change. They will also implement various other changes, including the rental structure for the multi-use flower buckets Fc533, Fc560, and Fc580.

Single-use cardboard packaging
Due to the increase of raw material prices, a large number of cardboard packaging will increase in price.

Normpack plant trays
Due to the exceptional market situation, the prices of Normpack plant trays have been adjusted as of 31 May 2021. Click here for more information.

Adjustment of rental structure Fc533, Fc560, and Fc580
The rental structure of various multi-use flower buckets and racks has already been adjusted. Only the Fc533, Fc560, and Fc580 have not yet been adjusted because of the tulip season. They will adjust these packaging codes as of 5 July 2021. They will levy twice the rental amount upon collection and pay the rental amount back to the supplier upon supply through Royal FloraHolland. Nothing will change for buyers. Click here for more information.

Adjustment to price model for Amaryllis and Cymbidium boxes
At the beginning of 2021, Royal FloraHolland adjusted the price model of a large number of single-use flower boxes. Because of the season, this adjustment has not yet been implemented for the Amaryllis and Cymbidium boxes. As of Monday, 5 July 2021, they will also adjust these boxes and reduce the collection price by 4 euro cents. The increase in the price of cardboard will still cause the actual collection price to rise, but by 4 euro cents less than would otherwise have been the case. The settlement price upon supply will subsequently be lowered as of Monday 16 August 2021 and will be equal to the collection price at that time. Suppliers who order through Royal FloraHolland will continue to be fully reimbursed for these boxes. We will not adjust the settlement price for the buyer. Click here for more information.
