Learn more on building floral sales at retail during the online PMA event

Are floral consumers and the floral industry on the same page when it comes to building floral sales at retail? On June 17 from 1-2:30 p.m. ET, PMA is offering an online event: Drive Demand for Floral: Consumer Attitudes, Industry Insights.

The foundation for the June 17 online event is the PMA retail and consumer research. During the event, the research results from the experts on consumer views and industry perspectives will be discussed.

During the event, the two new PMA reports: "Floral Community Weighs in on Logistics Challenges" and "Everyday Purchases of Floral Study", will also be discussed.

Below two brief descriptions of the information published in the reports.

Registration for retailers is free! Use code 71721FLORAL at checkout. Non-members pay $149 for this online event featuring new research and business implications.

Floral Community Weighs in on Logistics Challenges
In order to anticipate and increase floral sales in US supermarkets, in March 2021, PMA commissioned Everyday Purchases of Floral Study, research into self-purchases of flowers and potted plants. Over 1,000 floral purchasers responded providing feedback on their frequency, rationale, location, and expenditure for flowers and potted plants. Everyday Purchases of Floral Study
Floral growers continue to wrestle with COVID-related challenges, including labor shortages, transportation disruptions, and over-consolidation of the industry.  Many factors have led to a tighter flower supply for the supermarket floral industry.  To gain access to Floral Community Weighs in on Logistics Challenges report about how the market is responding to different challenges and barriers, contact Becky Roberts at broberts@pma.co
