WF&FSA Distribution Conference took place last month at the beautiful Doral Resort in Miami Florida, gathering hundreds of the floral industry players. who displayed and networked over 2 days. Ball was also present at the conference showcasing the newest products at the table tops section and decorating with a stunning floral display in the registration area and lobby.
This year the conference had the theme “Stronger Together, Better than Ever” where all the activities fully resembled the theme with excitement, joy and enthusiasm shown by attendees to reunite after a very difficult past year.
The Tuesday lunch conference, as an annual tradition, was honored with the LTK (Leland T Kintzele) Distinguished Service Award to someone outstanding in the industry. On this occasion, Augusto Solano, current president of Asocolflores, was awarded with this recognition for his work and commitment in the Colombian industry leading sustainability in the country.
And on the final day of the conference, a new president was sworn in, Gabriel Becerra from Golden Flowers, to lead the association’s efforts for the 2021-2022 period.
