In just over 2 months, the FlowersExpo will take place and this year, it will again be held in two formats; offline in Moscow (Russia), and online. “The hybrid format of this B2B event has significantly expanded the footprint of the exhibition”, the organization says. For this 11th edition, which will be held from September 14-16, 2021, they expect more than 250 companies from Russia and other 10 countries around the world.

FlowersExpo 2020
The FlowersExpo is a B2B event that has grown over the years and has now even been awarded the accolade from the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF) and the International Union of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as the recognition of the high quality and integrity of the event. In 2020, it was held in a hybrid format for the first time and the organization is pleased with the outcome. “More than 9,800 specialists visited the exhibition, as many as 1000 of them participated online. In this difficult year, the exhibition managed to confirm its high status, becoming the only offline autumn exhibition of flowers and plants not only in Russia, but also in Europe.”

According to the organization, the 2021 edition. is going to be an exhibition of restoration and development in the post-pandemic reality. “We expect over 250 companies, mainly from Russia but also from 10 other countries around the world. The companies include well-known manufacturers and wholesale companies, suppliers of flowers, plants, equipment and materials. But several new companies will also participate at the exhibition for the first time. And this year, it is already known that Germany and the Netherlands are planning to present nationally themed expositions at the exhibition.

And just like the 2020 edition, the 2021 edition will be held in two formats; offline in the Crocus Expo and online on the web platform Flowers-Expo.ru. This way of organizing the show enables more companies and visitors to experience the show, the organization reports. “The COVID-19 pandemic restrictions prevent numerous companies from visiting Moscow and participating in person. However, we provide every company with the opportunity to participate in hybrid format, which was successfully implemented in 2020, or to present their products remotely on the online platform of the exhibition. By these means, companies from anywhere in the world will be able to present themselves and their products, conduct meetings, negotiations, hold seminars and presentations, give tours around the company, show videos and much more.”
“Though digital communication is no replacement for personal contact, the online platform provides you with the opportunity to become a full participant of the FlowersExpo exhibition on an online platform and not to miss another year of your exhibition experience. And given the low cost of participation, it will become one of the best possible solutions while the borders are closed.”
The events of the Business Program will be held in the exhibition halls as well as on the online platform. Russian and international experts will discuss flower business issues of concern.
Other floral events will also once again complement the exhibition. “The exhibition will host the main landmark event of the year - the Russian Professional Floristry Championship "Russian Floristic Cup'2021". National Guild of Florists is the organizer of the Championship. For the second time, the exhibition will feature the works of the participants of the "Russian Florist Awards", a floral award established by the exhibition directorate together with the IamFlorist portal.”
Business events of the offline exhibition will be broadcast on the online platform of the exhibition in real time during all three days. And vice versa, online platform feed will be shown on television screens in the exhibition halls.

Access to the online platform of the exhibition will open 7 days before the start of the event in Crocus Expo, so that participants and visitors can plan their meetings and negotiations in advance.

The opening hours of the exhibition at the Crocus Expo IEC are from 10 to 18 hours on September 14 and September 15, and from 10 to 16 hours on September 16.
