“We feel proud of being able to provide an organized, free and safe vaccination process to all our employees, their families, and communities around,” says Macarena Valdez, Marketing Manager at Valleflor, the largest delphinium and statice producer in Latin America. “In collaboration with local authorities, Expoflores and some colleagues, we developed a vaccination plan that reached more than 8,000 people in 5 days. We had two vaccination areas with a team of more than 50 people, including doctors, nurses and data entry operators.”
Getting closer to normality
Valdez explains that they wanted to organize this vaccination plan in order to keep employees, their relatives and local communities as safe and healthy as possible. “It has been a difficult year for everyone and we have been working even harder every day since the pandemic began. Now we are hoping that this vaccination program will takes us closer to normality. We also want to thank all our customers that have been working hard as well, and never stopped bringing colors, joy and happiness to the world through flowers.”
