Delphy Team Floriculture recently launched a multi-year research project for pot and bedding plants in which Delphy advisers will test questions from the market in a controlled environment and new growing technologies will be applied.
For this purpose, Oreon has supplied LED fixtures with the appropriate light spectrum for pot plants. When Delphy advises research questions from the market, they will now have the latest type of full LED lighting at their disposal. Their research can focus on new types of plant growth regulators, biostimulants, and growing methods.
Oreon previously supplied Delphy with LED fixtures for its research into year-round eggplant cultivation. One of the main conclusions of this research was that the combination of day length and spectrum impacts significantly on eggplant growth.
Delphy
