Is wedding floral changing? 2021 florist survey results

Now, as weddings start to resume, is the wedding floral industry changing? Floranext surveyed 216 florists to get a sense of changes in wedding floral and how they may be affecting business. Here are the top 4 things you need to know.

Do florists love working in the wedding floral industry? Yes, they do:  77% of florists love working in wedding floral services.

With industry price increases, florists are raising their prices: over 82% of florists are reporting that they have increased their prices for wedding floral services.

Even with the price increases, customers are still spending money on wedding floral services. 41% of florists have stated that customers are spending about the same, with 21% of customers are spending more. At the same time, 37,6% of the customers are spending less on flowers.

When it comes to wedding trends, a majority of florists is seeing micro-weddings getting more popular. This is a trend that all florists are seeing right now.
