FloraHolland installs 25,000 solar panels

Royal FloraHolland has taken a huge, new solar roof into use. That is at its headquarters in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. In total, there are now more than 25,000 solar panels on their roofs. These are spread across three locations in the country.

All these solar panels generate about 7.5 GWh/year. That is enough to power around 2,700 households annually.

Royal FloraHolland installed these panels in collaboration with Vattenfall, a Swedish multinational power company.
