Under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Kaiyuan City and Kaiyuan Tianhua Company, the first flower forum was organized. The enterprises that won the title of “Top 10 Famous Flowers” in Yunnan at the end of September gathered for the forum. They not only brought award-winning flowers, but also focused on internationalization, specialization, branding, and informing to jointly discuss and exchange the experience and results of new varieties promotion, new technology breeding, improvement of facility and equipment, and brand building.
Through the establishment of the "Yunhua" exchange and cooperation mechanism, the influence and market competitiveness of Yunhua will be further enhanced, and the development of Yunnan's flower industry will be promoted.
Since the "Chen Fadi" expert workstation of Nanjing Agricultural University entered the park, it has closely cooperated with flower companies to carry out technical research and introduced more than 20 new mini-chrysanthemum varieties at this exhibition.
During the event, 9 global flower seedling breeding companies, such as Inochio Seikoen Inc, the Japanese company, and Deliflor from the Netherlands, conducted online and offline exchanges through “cloud publishing”, experts and scholars from universities, enterprises, and related departments have carried out technical training and guidance to flower growers. Micro-meteorological equipment, logistics, processing, packaging, agricultural materials, and other flower industry chain enterprises also carried out on-site demonstrations.
