52nd International flower arranging competition visited by Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline

After a virtual edition last year, the 52nd International Flower Arranging competition took place during the autumn dates of mid-October for the first time. The competition brought together about fifty competitors on the Casino Terraces to create floral arrangements for the expert eyes of international judges around the theme: “Culinary art in the world”. A parallel competition was dedicated to children from 7 to 16 years old.

Prince Albert II and Princess Caroline, who has chaired the Garden Club since 1982, explored the participants’ creations, guided by members of the jury and the team. Tiziana Vincentini, in the category “Gourmet composition of flowers, fruits, vegetables and plants” won the First Prize as well as the Princess Grace Prize with an astonishing three-tiered bouquet featuring flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
