UK: Blackburn florist who collaborated with Vogue is expanding business

A Blackburn florist, who collaborated with Vogue and makes flower arrangements for celebrities, is expanding their business. Raysa Farah, the owner of Blackburn-based LK Verdant, has released some new merchandise.

The brand new products are grey, oversized sweatshirts with a hand-drawn, illustrated design on the back. It includes mini bouquets, butterflies, coffee cups, and the phrase ‘you’re my type of flower’. The design represents the ethos of the brand, which has grown from strength-to-strength after the self-taught florist’s collaboration with Vogue last year.

In October last year, Ms. Farah was asked to film a step-by-step guide to making a vase arrangement for the official Vogue Weddings Instagram account, at which point demand for her products bloomed.

Raysa said: “I’m always using social media to ask my customers what they want to see from me, and something that has been requested for a while is branded merchandise. The people who support me and my brand resonate with the ethos of LK Verdant, and the things that I love and are important to me."

"I’m grateful to be able to expand my business in the way that I am, all thanks to my loyal customers.”
