The flower sector, very present in all editions of Iberflora, hopes to reach the pre-pandemic sales in the 'All Saints' Day' again this year. This important holiday represents between 15 and 20% of cut flower sales for the whole year.
Flowers are the perfect element to show respect and affection to the departed on All Saints' Day. This is demonstrated every year by Spaniards, who choose flowers as a symbol of remembrance.
This year, also, the floral sector, very important for Iberflora, is confident of reaching pre-pandemic sales on All Saints' Day, having already overcome the restrictions that marked this date last year. The flowers that will be sold during these days are produced in the eastern areas, Andalusia, or Galicia, in addition to also arriving from countries such as Holland.
Sales of cut flowers are between 15-20% of the realizations throughout the year, according to the president of the Flower and Plant Committee of FEPEX, Juan Daniel Marichal, chrysanthemums and roses being the most demanded species.
