Royal FloraHolland organizes benefit auction for Giro555 on 14 March

Coming Monday, on all clocks, Royal FloraHolland will organize a benefit auction for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Growers can bring in trolleys for the benefit auction group and have them auctioned off. The action will take place immediately after the first auction break at 7.10 a.m.

What can you do?
As a grower, you can deliver your products for the benefit auction group until Monday morning, 14 March, 4.00 am. Via the delivery letter you indicate which offer you make available for this benefit auction. Every clock has its own 'benefit auction group'. In this way, the products concerned are auctioned for buyers who are already buying on that clock. Products are auctioned by regular auctioneers. All additional costs, such as transaction costs for both buyers and growers, are part of Royal FloraHolland's donation to Giro555.

More details about this auction for the people in Ukraine and the instructions for growers will follow Thursday 10 March, at the latest Friday 11 March, by email

Giro555
The cooperating aid organizations behind Giro555 are joining forces and calling on the Netherlands to donate to people who have been hard hit by the events in Ukraine. Royal FloraHolland also wants to contribute on behalf of the floriculture sector to help these people with food, shelter, and other emergency aid.
