Also in 2022, the Dutch team 'De Vrijbuiters' will be supported by Van Dooren Transport with a truck to raise as much money as possible for Alpe d'HuZes. The trailer is equipped with 180 boxes that are offered to sponsors for € 250,- each. The result was a magnificent total of over €45,000. In the years 2012, 2013, 2018, 2019, and 2020, Van Dooren Transport also offered this possibility to the team. The total revenue of the truck actions in all years is now about € 250,000.
Team de Vrijbuiters
The team consists of members who mainly come from the Duin- and Bollenstreek areas. They have been participating in this wonderful event since the 3rd edition of Alpe d'HuZes in 2009. More information about the team and the possibility to support them can be found here.
Alpe d'HuZes
Alpe d'HuZes is a unique sports event in which the participants try to raise as much money as possible for cancer research and to improve the quality of life with cancer. Approximately 5,000 participants climb the Alpe d'Huez up to six times in one day by bike, run or walk, under the slogan 'giving up is not an option. Would you like to know more about Alpe d'Huzes?
