The Kalanchoe.nl promotional collective introduces the 100-day flowering guarantee for Kalanchoe Garden. Based on independent flowering trials of the Kalanchoe.nl Garden range, at least 100 days of flowering is now guaranteed. From mid-May until late autumn, the flowering guarantee can be recognized by the new label '100daysflowering'.
The 100-day flowering guarantee for Kalanchoe Garden is possible following independent research into more than 25 varieties, during which the plants were transported and tested throughout the entire chain.
Independent research
Extensive independent flowering tests have shown that all Kalanchoes Garden flower for at least 100 days in the open air. Whether the weather is sunny and warm or wetter, the Kalanchoe proves to be a rock-solid plant for balcony, terrace or conservatory. The study was carried out for flowering (including re-flowering) of Kalanchoe Garden in patio pots for use in Western Europe during the period from mid-June to the end of September. The Kalanchoe Garden will be recognizable with the special '100-day flowering label'.
To guarantee product quality, participating growers and breeders will be actively involved in raising awareness of this aspect of Kalanchoe. The annual flowering test is also repeated with the products of the various growers. Based on the results, the breeders improve their genetics and prevent lesser-performing varieties from coming onto the market. The Royal FloraHolland Product Committee (FPC) Kalanchoe monitors the process and the test method.

The collective promotion 'Kalanchoe.nl' for the flowering plant Kalanchoe is an initiative of 17 growers and 5 breeders from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Denmark, all members of Royal FloraHolland.
