Expo Flor Ecuador: What to expect?

In less than four months, the Expo Flor Ecuador will take place in Quito. At the second edition of this flower show, 109 exhibitors will gather, including 64 flower producers, 20 logistic operators, 14 flower breeders, 4 sellers, 3 providers, and 1 association.

At the show, Flor Ecuador certified farms will exhibit. Flor Ecuador Certified's social and sustainability accreditation scheme has backed the environmental commitment of 102 Ecuadorian companies since its inception in 2005. Recently, these farms have taken steps to join another initiative, the Zero Carbon Program, led by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Environment and Water and Ecological Transition. The program's goal is to measure, reduce and neutralize the production of greenhouse gasses in more than 2,600 productive acres by 2030.

Roses represent 74 percent of all Ecuadorian flower exports, making the country the second-largest rose provider worldwide. The second-largest is summer flowers, followed by gypsophila, preserved flowers, carnations, alstroemeria, lilies, and chrysanthemum. Click here for registration.
