“Waxflower Dawn Pearl will inject pure white joy to summer bouquets”

The choice of pure white filler flowers has now expanded with the release of Waxflower Dawn Pearl. “Our buyers love the pure white color and green center of Waxflower Dawn Pearl and its harvest availability relative to other waxes on the market,” says South African grower Hans Hettash of Arnelia Farms, who grows Waxflower Dawn Pearl. “We look forward to increased production of this Helix Australia hybrid in the coming years.” White waxflower Dawn Pearl is a variety created by Kings Park & Botanic Garden (KPBGA) and is marketed exclusively by Helix Australia.

Waxflower Dawn Pearl: “Pure, Classic, and Premium”
Helix Australia and its breeding partner KPBGA continue to strive for innovation when it comes to filler flowers that deliver on so many levels. According to them, Waxflower Dawn Pearl provides a pure white color, blended with autumn tone color buds, stem lengths 60-80cm, and a flowering season well ahead of any other white waxflower on the market. “Take your summer bouquet and wedding designs to the next level with pure white Waxflower Dawn Pearl.”

Arnelia Farms to increase volumes
Arnelia Farms, a wildflower grower in Hopefield, South Africa, has been growing Waxflower Dawn Pearl since 2021, and they are very excited about this variety. “We are very excited about the addition of Waxflower Dawn Pearl to our range as it flowers a lot earlier than Waxflower Moonlight Delight,” Hans said at Arnelia Farms. They plant Waxflower Dawn Pearl at a density of 5600 plants per hectare with 15 stems per plant in year 2 and 30 stems per plant in year 3. Initially, this grower had limited volumes to supply, but buyers will now start to see increased volumes on RFH auctions in the coming years(VBN 125393)

Why florists love to work with this variety
Jason Storey, Operations Manager Stems Florist Ballarat Australia, explained why his florists love to work with Waxflower Dawn Pearl. “Our team of professional florists love to work with Waxflower Dawn Pearl due to its clean white color and ease of use in both native and traditional flower bouquets,” he says. Storey said his retail clients also love to buy Waxflower Dawn Pearl as a straight consumers. “Bunch line for use in a vase all on its own or perhaps mixed with some locally grown Eucalyptus foliage.”
