New product release: Protection Plus

The truth about killing insects - the right way the first time

Environmental Plant Management Inc (EPM) announced the release of their new pesticide, Protection Plus, at Cultivate’22 in Columbus, Ohio, July 16-19, 2022. The product will be displayed in the New Product Zone and in the exhibit hall in booth 1711.

“Growers don’t realize the conundrum created by using conventional pesticides to fight pests that destroy the plant. Growers are unwittingly destroying the plant by fighting the pests with these very chemical pesticides,” said EPM President Patrick Haley. “While it is an accepted truth pesticide efficacy is lost with repeated use due to immunity buildup of the insects being targeted, it is equally true that the chemical buildup on the leaves and roots are damaging the plant (phytotoxicity), robbing it of the needed sunlight and nutrient uptake which weakens it to the point of disease that starts the cycle of pest infestation all over again.”

But it doesn’t have to be this way. EPM has unlocked the ‘code’ of a natural recipe in its new broad-spectrum pesticide product Protection Plus that kills insects on contact with the highest kill rate on the initial application as proven by independent laboratory testing (including 100% whiteflies, 98% aphids, and 98% russet mites). Without leaving any residue behind as well as cleaning the plant, soil, and roots of harmful debris, this water-based cocktail of earth-friendly ingredients eliminates the need for pesticide rotation and repeat application which for the grower means reduced input costs and elimination of costly application mistakes. A healthier plant is the result.

Mr. Haley has a fascinating history to share about his 30+ years of eco-friendly product development. If you’d like to talk with him further, the company will be happy to arrange an interview for you, or you may visit him during the Cultivate’22 show at booth 1711.
