To sensitize people about the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the Department of Floriculture, Parks & Gardens Jammu today organized a Tiranga rally in Green Belt Park. More than 100 Gardeners participated in the rally, along with officials and officers of the Department.
The rally was organized under the supervision of the Director, Floriculture, Parks & Gardens, S. Jatinder Singh. Deputy Director Sunil Singh, Floriculture Officer Vikrant Sharma, Floriculture Officer HQ, Ishtiaq Ahmad Malik, and Assistant Floriculture Officers Atul Sharma & Purnima Bajala were also present at the Tiranga Rally.
Speaking on the occasion, S. Jatinder Singh said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being organized under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tricolour home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of our Independence. He urged all the participants to follow the Flag Code of India and hoist the National Flag with dignity and honor. The participants chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai &Vande Mataram in one voice.
