The results for this year's City of Glasgow International Rose Trials have been announced.
Judges and rose experts from around the world paid a visit to Glasgow's Tollcross Park on Friday for the City of Glasgow's 34th International Rose Trials.
Roses were judged via a five-category score sheet (which included plant health, general effect, foliage, the beauty of a flower, and freedom of bloom) and the winners were announced during a civic lunch at Glasgow's Merchant House.
The winner of the Lord Provost's Cup – for the rose with the highest points - was the Green Connection Sweet 16 roses by Martin Vissers.
The winner of the Gold Medal was Art Rose by NIRP International.
The winners of Silver were Martin Visser's Spirit of Love and Poulsen Roser's Baroniet Rosendal – which also won the Tollcross Fragrance prize.
