Uralchem to make a shipment of fertilizers to Burkina Faso

Uralchem JSC, a producer, and exporter of nitrogen, potash, and complex fertilizers, shipped over 23,000 tons of the NPK 27:6:6 product to Lomé, the capital of the Togolese Republic, from where the fertilizers will be transported to Burkina Faso. The shipment was made completely free of charge and is part of Uralchem’s humanitarian project to supply fertilizers to African countries.

The humanitarian project responds to UN Sustainable Development Goal No 2 (End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture). Despite the blocking of the company’s humanitarian fertilizer shipments by the EU, Uralchem intends to ship its products to the African continent from Russian ports.
