Trump Coir Celebrated their 13th anniversary in November 2022. Their USA partner was present for the occasion and ceremoniously opened the new Raw Material Processing Facility located in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. "With this new development which comprises a vast drying floor and enhanced storage facility, we now have the capability to produce inordinate volumes of coco peat and husk chips," says company director Thushara Kudakumbura. "This will enable us to service our production requirements in a smooth and unhindered manner at our main product processing facility in Kurunegala."
"We have basically fought our way through the difficult pandemic-burdened times and progressed with a vengeance in producing the best possible product to cater to our customer specifications," Thushara adds. "We have also expanded our customer base with new entrants from the UK and Türkiye. In fact, we visited a Turkish client who is very interested in entering into a long-term collaboration to serve the region."
Trump Coir will be present at the IPM Essen, Germany, Booth 4E32, from 24-27 January 2023.
