Skagit Valley's Tulip Town looking forward to its annual Tulip Festival

US (WA): "The tulips are getting ready to start making their appearance soon"

Washington State is the largest producer of tulips in the United States, attracting hundreds of thousands of people from across the world to witness its fields in bloom. And from April 1 through April 30, Tulip Town will hold their annual Tulip Festival again.

Each springtime since 1984, the field of Skagit Valley's Tulip Town has come alive in a kaleidoscope of color as rows, and rows of vibrant tulips burst forth from their winter slumber.

Last year it has been a challenging season. Hopefully, this year, it will be better. Now, the tulips are still tucked away and are getting ready to start making their appearance soon. "Sometime next month, we will begin to see them emerging from the ground! The countdown to spring is here", the company says on their Facebook page.

Historically, 95% of their revenue is derived from these guests paying to come out and see the farm, so the community's support is definitely needed yet again this year.
