Gas engine specialist LouwSon Energy will launch an exciting new CHP partnership – the Energy+ Alliance (E+A) – at the Dutch trade show HortiContact 2023. Offering whole-of-market engine support, CHP supply, and energy generation solutions, E+A will help growers and greenhouse owners to generate on-site heat and power faster and more efficiently – plus, capture CO2 to accelerate crop and plant growth.
More power, faster
The concept of the Energy+ Alliance is to provide a seamless end-to-end CHP offering by bringing together seven of Europe’s leading CHP engine innovators: LouwSon Energy, Gen-C, Motortech, RS Motor, Re-Power, CM Commissioning, and LS Parts. Each business delivers one critical part of either CHP service or supply. By combining their specialisms, customers can quickly gain access to the complete suite of engine-boosting engineering, express parts delivery, responsive service, and digital remote troubleshooting, as well as new, refurbished, and rental engines.
With decades of combined experience in the gas engine sector, a dedicated R&D division, and a fresh approach to CHP support which frees owners from restrictive contracts, the Energy+ Alliance puts the power back in the hands of the engine owner, giving growers peace of mind that their day-to-day power production is constantly efficient, effective and emissions compliant.

Next-generation CHP support
“The Energy+ Alliance is a natural evolution of the already strong partnership between our companies, which has deepened over the five years that we have been working together,” explains Roland Louwsma, Managing Director of LouwSon Energy and founder member of the Energy+ Alliance.
“Growers and greenhouse owners can benefit from our combined experience and expertise, safe in the knowledge that their energy solution will be fast, smart, efficient and carbon-saving, allowing them to cut their energy bills, sell excess power to the grid and boost plant growth by capturing heat and CO2.”
