Greenhouse Dehumidification – a tool for dealing with the carbon crisis

Closing a greenhouse to prevent heat losses and save energy in the winter seems like a great idea, except for the issue of humidity control. A multi-year project evaluating dehumidification technologies for effectiveness in decreasing energy consumption and removing humidity in Ontario vegetable, herb, and flower greenhouses has just wrapped up, and the results provide some insight for growers. An overview of the results and some general recommendations for growers will be discussed

Please register for the next GrowON webinar to learn more about greenhouse dehumidification with Dr. Jeanine West, an environmental specialist with Flowers Canada (Ontario).
