Aardse Orchids organizes job fair to help employees find new jobs

Nursery Aardse Orchids organized a job fair on March 9. The orchid growers from Zuidbroek in Groningen are ceasing business as of 1 April and are now trying to help their people find new jobs. Liesbeth Aardse, responsible for human resources, tells RTV Noord: "Our people have always been very good to us. This is the least we can do in return."

Once it was known that the nursery was going to stop because of the energy crisis, an appeal was made on LinkedIn, after which the nursery staff "have been inundated with vacancies." "From there, the idea for a job fair was born." Aardse Orchids is looking for work for 120 people.
