Flower and ornamental plant exports of Türkiye reached 125 million USD in 2022

Ahmet Dundar, Vice President of Ornamental Plants Producers Sub-Association (SUSBIR), the prominent professional sectoral organization representing ornamental plant and cut flower growers in Türkiye, said that the sector is going through a stagnant period due to the election process and economic reasons. Dundar said, "We expect there will be activity in the sector as the weather gets a little warmer and Mother's Day approaches."

Emphasizing that a very good momentum has been achieved in the products exported in the cut flowers and ornamental plants sector, Dundar said that the exports in 2022 reached 125 million USD Dundar said, "There is an increase in exports, especially to European countries. This continues steadily and is an indicator that our industry can be proud of in a sense. We are pleased with the exports made in terms of contribution to our country's economy and the growth of our sector."
