Royal FloraHolland participates at the IFTEX 2023

"IFTEX is a great opportunity to source a wide assortment of Kenyan grown flowers"

This year Royal FloraHolland will participate again at the annual IFTEX held in Nairobi, Kenya. In addition to the 150 registered exhibitors, this years expo will also have several new growers on board. "For the growing list of pre-registered international flower buyers, IFTEX is a great opportunity to source a wide assortment of Kenyan grown flowers."

At the Royal FloraHolland stand B3.08, under the theme of ‘Connect to Grow’, they will be presenting our B2B platform Floriday, Global Sourcing Service, Flower Handling service and updating their members on new projects such as the automation of Dock Services.

Kenya is an important market for Royal FloraHolland. Over 120 members grow products across a total of over 4,000 hectares. Kenyan roses and summer flowers are sold across more than 60 destinations including in Europe, the Middle-east and China.

Kenya is the world’s fourth largest exporter of cut flowers and the number one import country for flowers into Royal FloraHolland in the Netherlands. "The International Floriculture Trade Expo (IFTEX) in Nairobi is the leading floriculture exhibition in Africa, bringing together growers, the market, breeders and the entire supply chain. The show attracts some 1500 visitors yearly, and is a must attend for the most important buyers of cut flowers."
