Water cleanser product to be on display at Cultivate '23

Environmental Plant Management has introduced Clear Zona™, a water cleanser product. EPM, renowned for its commitment to utilizing natural methods in pest control, now extends its expertise to combatting biofilm in grow operations. Clear Zona will be on display at Cultivate'23 in Columbus, OH, July 15-18, 2023, in the New Product Zone shelf 5A and in the exhibit hall in booth 1711.

"The silent killer is biofilm. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist," said EPM President Patrick
Haley. "Plants that are failing to grow are frequently assumed to be lacking in food, fertilizer, light, or water. However, biofilm
buildup is at the 'root' of the problem." Haley explains, "The thing about most of the biofilm solutions on the market today is
that they create different problems while fighting the original one. While they do address the biofilm issue, conventional
products also create negative downstream effects for people, the environment, and even the plants themselves. Lab-created
chemicals are never good for grow operations or anything else, which is why we've put so much focus into finding a different

Biofilm and organic debris pose significant challenges in growing operations. Even when the water looks clear, organic slimes can
build up a coating on plant roots, hindering their ability to absorb essential resources such as water, oxygen, and nutrients.
Additionally, debris can obstruct irrigation lines and equipment, negatively impacting growth rates and yield and demanding
growers must invest valuable time identifying and clearing blocked emitters that impede plant development.

"What sets Clear Zona apart is its uniqueness in ensuring plant safety and productivity throughout all growth stages, as it contains no chemicals," the company team explains. "Unlike chemicals or hydrogen peroxide, Clear Zona is neutral to plants which means growers can now keep tank, tank lines, filters, and chambers clean in pre-production, production, and post-production without fear of harm to plants or people. This remarkable feature translates into valuable benefits for growers, eliminating downtime and increasing plant yield by allowing the roots to be cleaned continuously."

"Clear Zona accomplishes the seemingly unachievable by
employing a dual approach, leveraging catalytic enzymes and beneficial microbes. Not only does it effectively address biofilm
and organic debris, but it does so without compromising the plants or necessitating frequent fertilizer cycles to tackle unknown
pathologies. Its versatility is another remarkable attribute, as it performs equally well in soil, soilless, and hydroponic media.
Clear Zona represents a breakthrough in the industry, providing growers with a safe and efficient solution to combat biofilm
and organic debris without resorting to harmful chemicals. EPM continues to lead the way in eco-friendly plant management,
empowering growers with innovative tools that promote sustainable and thriving crop cultivation."
