Dutch company's Canadian branch almost operational

The Van der Ende Group's facility in Kingsville, Ontario, Canada, will be fully operational as of July 17, 2023. This branch will be officially opened near the Canadian Greenhouse Conference in late September/early October 2023.

The Canadian facility

Canada is not unfamiliar terrain for the Dutch Van der Ende Group. It has exported trade and products there for years. With the increasing pressure concerning sustainability and ever-stricter legislation, there is a (latent) need for knowledge and expertise regarding water and climate. The Van der Ende Group aims to meet that need with its products, specialist knowledge, and years of experience.

"These past months, we, and several colleagues, have been hard at work renovating our new site in Kingsville, Ontario. We kept our Dutch headquarters' interior as standard. We're trying to create unity and connection," says Lex van der Ende.

Chris van Staalduinen, the Van der Ende Group CFO: "We copied as much of the administrative and financial setup as possible too. That makes it much easier to help each other with requests, inventory management, and other operational activities."

Sales, Service, Stock
"We'll start with the 3-S principle: Sales, Service, and Stock, adding the other disciplines later. We can, thus, focus on the most important activities," concludes Brock Herman, General Manager: Canada.
