NL: Ron Poppelaars Transport B.V. establishes itself at BCT

On July 25, 2023, Ron Poppelaars, Managing Director of Ron Poppelaars Transport BV, and Chantal van Kuyck, Managing Director of Treeport BCT Partners BV, signed a purchase agreement for lot 18 at Business Centre Treeport, measuring more than 14,000 square meters. The building plans are already in the works, so the permit can be submitted soon, and the construction work can start after the permit has been granted.

Affiliation with nursery stock
A specific thematic filter applies to Business Centre Treeport, focusing on the nursery stock sector. Therefore, only tree cultivation-affiliated companies and/or companies with added value and significant crossovers are given the opportunity to establish themselves here. For Ron Poppelaars Transport BV, this affiliation is present, and the company will develop further in the coming years: they specialize in container transport and refrigerated/freezer transport. Every year they handle thousands of transports.

Currently, the company from Zundert, the Netherlands, has 25 units and also a warehouse plus site, and they rent external locations so that it can provide customers with temporary storage and cross-docking. Also, in this respect, collaboration with BCT Treehub Cold Store BV will be an interesting addition.

Treeport BCT Partners BV is looking forward to the arrival of this young, ambitious entrepreneur with a heart for the industry. The collaboration and crossovers that are already being discussed will only expand further, and the company will be able to concentrate all its activities in one location. In addition, it is nice to see that the company attaches great importance to quality and sustainability. This is in line with the vision of Business Centre Treeport.
